What is TAILS?

TAILS can start your preschooler's learning at Williams-Cone School with activities such as:

  • TALES for TAILS storytimes with the school librarian, along with library borrowing privileges

  • "TAILS TRAIL" a reading program that teams up parents and preschoolers in a reading adventure where they follow the "trail" and are rewarded with a free book

  • TAILS EVENTS throughout the school year for your preschooler to socialize with other "classmates" and parents and get-to-know Williams-Cone, and meet other staff at Williams-Cone in the music, art and physical education departments, as well as opportunities to have lunch with classmates in the cafeteria
This program is an outstanding way for your preschooler to get excited about reading, get excited about Williams-Cone School, and get excited about meeting new friends and faces.

We look forward to meeting you and your preschooler!

TAILS - Teaching Alliance: Inspiring Little 'schoolers

2009/2010

In 2004, a group of parents teamed up with the enthusiastic staff at Williams-Cone School to design a program called TAILS (Teaching Alliance: Inspiring Little 'Schoolers). The group was designed for preschoolers to get them excited about reading, get excited about Williams-Cone School, and get excited about meeting new friends and faces.

Now in our sixth year, our programming for the 2009/2010 school year will begin in October. Please join us for this delightful way to introduce your family to the Williams-Cone School community.
